Is Adele, the master of heartbreak songs, engaged?
The ring she wore to the 2022 BRITs suggests so.
Adele has taken fans on a journey through her tumultuous love life simply through her music.
In fact, on Feb. 8,Adele sparked engagement rumors at the 2022 BRIT Awards.

As she toldRolling Stonein 2009,she wrote Chasing Pavementsafter finding out that he cheated on her.
I went to the pub [where he was] and punched him in the face, she recounted.
I got thrown out, and as I was running away, the phrase chasing pavements came to me.
He also apparently inspired songs like First Love, Cold Shoulder, and Tired.
For about a week he was calling and was deadly serious about it, she recalled.
He really thought hed had some input into the creative process by being a prick.
Adele has only ever referred to this man as Alex and never confirmed his identity.
We had everything on every level we were totally right, she explained.
And the best thing is, I now know what I want for myself and from someone else.
I didnt know what I wanted before.
2011-2019: Simon Konecki
Adele started dating Konecki in 2011, following the blockbuster release of21.
Only a year later, they welcomed their first child, Angelo.
They reportedly tied the knot in secret sometime in 2016.
Ive found my next person.
Sadly, the nuptials were short-lived as it was announced thatAdele and Konecki were filing for divorcein April 2019.
Thankfully, her split from Konecki seems to have been her most amicable to date.
Neither of us did anything wrong, she explained.
Neither of us hurt each other or anything like that.
It was just: I want my son to see me really love, and be loved.
Speaking to BritishVogue,Adele said Konecki lives minutes awayfrom her and they do regular movie nights with Angelo.

I did date before Rich, but they hated it, she said, without naming names.
It never evolved because we were never experiencing things together.

Luckily, neither is scared of going public with their love.
Normally, I think I get scared about it because its very emasculating.
Speaking to U.S.Vogue,Adele said she had been friends with Paulfor years after meeting him at a party.
I was a bit drunk, she recalled.

All the other guys were just sitting around.
He was just dancing away.
However, they didnt actually start dating until earlier this year.
He was always there, I just didnt see him, she said.
But once they made the jump, Adele said she felt safer and more secure than ever.
I dont feel anxious or nervous or frazzled, she explained.
Its quite the opposite.
She praised the easiness of their relationship and highlighted how Paul is both hilarious and very smart.
Thats helped her reach a more secure place.
Oh, and Richsends his love, she wrote, seemingly shutting down any trouble in paradise.
The fact that she even said something about these reports proves just how serious they are.
Of course, theyre mostly not true.
In October 2019, it was reported that she had gone on a few dates withBritish rapper Skepta.
Thankfully, as she toldVogue, shes used to brushing off false reports.
Its been sh*t, she said about the dating world.
And 99.9 percent of the stories that have been written about me are absolutely made up.
