Meet the K-beauty product with a storied legacy.
Whenever that happens, I reach for aKorean skin care product, since theyre generally known for being soothing.
As of late, my magical skin cure-all has been Sulwhasoos First Care Activating Serum.
If youre not familiar, know that this particular serum is arguablythemost iconic one in K-beauty history.
Though the product has had multiple iterations, its function has remained the same since its beginning.
Ginseng, BTW, is magicallyhealing in applications beyond the skin.
(I sawsomuch dried ginseng in Seouls Myeongdong market.)
Well, as it turns out, ginsengs beauty perks are just as impressive as its dietary prowess.
Ginseng also helpsbrighten and firm the skin,increase collagen production, andboost hydration.
In short: It was love at first app.
My complexion is smoother, softer, more even, and more moisturized.
Any last bits of redness have completely vanished.
Some of the crepey lines around my eyes and mouth have diminished.
I just look moreglowy.
Applying this serum is actually a step in my skin care routine that I look forward to.
My skin has never looked better.
I know Ill be stocking up the second I run out.
