In her role, she commissions content pertaining to pregnancy, parenting, family life, health and wellness, movies and TV, books, music, home, food, pets, and travel. Julie started her career in media as an editorial assistant for a home and design magazine, rising to editor-in-chief in her first year. She remained in that role for five years before shifting full-time to freelance. She then promptly packed up her husband, two children, and two oversized rescue dogs to roll around the U.S. in an RV for three years. An award-winning journalist and editor, Julie has bylines on Bustle, HuffPost, USA Today, Yahoo, SheKnows, National Geographic, MSN, Business Insider, and more.
