Thats before I even take the role.

Now that the films in theaters, shes using herNo Time To Diespotlight to call for change.

But representation, she notes, is just one part of the equation.

Below, Lynch talks to Bustle about Nomis impact, her dreamBond partner, and wigs.

What specific character traits did you help craft to make Nomi feel authentic?

I had some conversations with most of the departments, actually.

I wanted her to be really quick, stealth-like, but also sharp and quite deadly.

I wanted all of her costumes to be functional.

I wanted all the pockets to be functional but I didnt want her to be one of the dudes.

I wanted to flip everything on its head.

Bond says something like, Thats not the first thing I thought youd remove.

How did that scene come about?

How do we take the wig off?

How are we going to do the hair underneath the wig?

Do we have to stop and reshoot?

She leaves the wig?

Does she take the wig?

Is the wig going to be commented on?

The whole wig thing was a real conversation.

And that worked out really, really well.

Some thought you were going to lead thenext James Bond movie.

Who would your dream Bond partner be theAna de Armasor the Lashana Lynch to your 007?

Give the young actors a chance to come through and show what they can do.

Theres enough of us to go around, and theres enough work to go around.
