As her career takes flight, the Aussie actor finds ways to keep herself grounded.
Natasha Liu Bordizzo is going to die.
and theyre like, Natasha, what the f*ck?
We’re all going to die.
None of this matters.
Bordizzos calling from a Sweetgreen in Los Angeles, where shes loading up on protein after a training session.
(Her order: a harvest bowl with extra chicken and avocado.)
Shes trying to get stronger for herself, yes, but also forupcoming stunt-heavy projects.
Most recently, she acted alongsideSydney Sweeneyin last falls erotic thrillerThe Voyeurs, which is streaming on Amazon Prime.
(Here, though, her characters biggest stunt was for publicity.)
Ironically, Bordizzo never dreamed of becoming an actor.
But even so, she instinctually placed herself in the role.
I would watch movies and imagine how I would have done the scene, which apparently is not common.
I ask people, Didnt you used to do that?
And they’re like, No, never.
She booked the part and left school.
Despite her growing resume, Bordizzo is just newly comfortable introducing herself as an actor.
I still feel like a huge imposter living in it.
So far, some of her biggest projectshave been fantasy, which she attributes to the genres increasedracial diversity.
As Bordizzo continues to gain Hollywood recognition in 2022, her WeCroak app will keep things in perspective.
And in the meantime?
