What does the day-to-day process of coaching aBachelorcontestant look like?

Kultgen:I live in LA, so it depends on where they are.

But generally speaking, its all over Zoom.

Some players have come to me late in the casting process.

In that case, its really comprehensive twice a week, in some cases.

If you dont want to be the winner, youll want to make it to the finals.

What did they talk to you about?

How should you best position your PTC [personal tragedy card] in the form of an interview?

Pace:The coaching doesnt stop once they go in.

So, its a 360-degree experience.

That would be social media, right?

Pace:Yeah, TikTok ideas, collaboration ideas, etc.

you’re able to theoretically make whatever you want.

Is this a paid consulting situation?

So Im just doing it to ultimately have some piece of control in how the show is presented.

Theyre not going to hire me to come work on the show.

Kultgen:A lot of players think theyre not playing the game until they walk out of the limo.

This is not true.

I know youre clearly doing that.

But Ill do it in exchange for, say, first-round placement inParadise.

And get this in writing.

I think that can take you a long way.

We havent seen that in a while.

Im hopeful that well return to it.

Thats a place where you really can stand out because the field is still pretty sparse.

So shes still staying in the conversation, and thats really important.
